About Wells Fargo Merchant Services

Wells Fargo is one of the most well-recognized banks in the United States. Its merchant services department provides payment processing solutions and POS systems, primarily targeted to small businesses.

But Wells Fargo doesn’t actually provide payment processing in-house. Wells Fargo Merchant Services is an ISO (Independent Sales Organization) that uses Fiserv to handle its backend processing needs.

You can read more about Fiserv here, as you’ll find many similarities between this processor and Wells Fargo Merchant Services (since Fiserv is the one processing Wells Fargo’s payments).
