Fullsteam Payments regularly updates its rates and fees for merchants.
In an effort to keep pace with these constant changes, we created this guide to provide our readers with these updates whenever they’re announced.
New Rate Increase From Fullsteam Payments – Effective April 2026
Fullsteam attached a rate increase notice to recent statements, notifying merchants of a rate increase that goes into effect on April 1, 2026. But not every merchant is being impacted equally.
For some businesses, standard rates are increasing by 0.10% per transaction. Other businesses received a notice with the following changes:
- 0.0338% + $0.03 per transaction increase
- 0.02% increase to Daily Gross Funding Fee
- $30 increase to PCI Non-Compliance Fee
While this may seem marginal compared to rate increases we’ve seen from other processors, these annual rate increases from Fullsteam are starting to add up.
Timeline of Other Rate Updates From Fullsteam Payments
Fullsteam has been increasing rates at least once per year. Including the April 2026 update from above, we’ve seen 5 pricing adjustments since 2023. Here’s a summary of those other increases:
April 2025
As of April 5, 2025, Fullsteam’s rates increased by 0.072% + $0.01 per transaction.
Merchants who are not PCI-compliant will also be charged an additional $4.95 per month on top of Fullsteam’s existing PCI non-compliance fee.
Effective April 1, 2025, merchants using Fullsteam’s Daily Gross Funding Service will be charged 0.05% on total processing volume. This fee can be avoided if merchants switch to Daily Net Funding.
April 2024
Effective April 1, 2024, Fullsteam Payments increased its rates by 0.09% + $0.09 per transaction.
In the notice to its customers, Fullsteam says that this increase is due to its investments in product enhancements, security, functionality, and rising provider costs.
October 2023
Fullsteam Payments notified its customers of a 0.14% + $0.14 per transaction rate increase, effective October 1, 2023.
They also implemented a new Partner of Processing Cost Fee of 0.02% + $0.02 on the monthly total processing volume and transaction count for all merchant ID numbers associated with RB Smart Pay accounts.

May 2023
Effective May 1, 2023, Fullsteam is increased processing rates by 0.14% and $0.14 per transaction.
Merchants using Fullsteam Payments were notified via email of this update.
Fullsteam noted the overall increase in payment processing costs at the card network level, as well as rising costs internally to deliver integrated software and payments solutions.
